InnoGames Forge of Empires generates one billion euros in lifetime revenues

In 2012, the Hamburg-based developer studio InnoGames launched their strategy hit Forge of Empires, which is still enjoying huge popularity more than 11 years after release. Now, Forge of Empires has surpassed one billion euros in sales. A huge milestone for InnoGames, which shows that successful games can generate significant profits even after years.

According to InnoGames, a crucial reason for their unbroken success is their unique approach to their community. Another success factor of Forge of Empires is its cross-platform play support, which allows it to flexibly adapt to the constantly evolving gaming habits of the gaming community.

The 130 million registered players from the main markets USA and Europe spend an average of 6 years to play the available content of Forge of Empires. Players with 3 and 5 years of play contribute 34% and 18% of Forge of Empires' revenue, respectively. These statistics confirm that Forge of Empires' recipe for success is working and remains unbroken.
