Das PLAY21 Festival findet dieses Jahr vom 5. bis 13. November als hybrid-Veranstaltung unter dem Motto "Restart Together" statt. Wir haben die Infos rund ums Programm für euch zusammengefasst.

Hamburgs Spielefestival ist zurück! PLAY bietet seit 2008 ein breites Spektrum an Veranstaltungen und Workshops für alle Altersgruppen. Die diesjährige Ausgabe steht unter dem Motto "Restart Together" und findet als Hybridmodell statt. Das Publikum kann Veranstaltungen in Hamburg vor Ort besuchen oder die virtuelle Festival-Location PLAYvalley nutzen, die das Festival über die Stadtgrenzen hinaus öffnet.

Das PLAY-Festival ist seit jeher eine einzigartige Mischung aus Spiel, Bildung und Diskussion, welche verschiedene Mediendisziplinen miteinander verbinden will. Das diesjährige Programm bietet interaktive Ausstellungen, Vorträge und Workshops, die für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich sind. In der Abschlussnacht werden außerdem die Creative Gaming Awards in den Kategorien "Kreativstes Spiel" und "Innovativster Newcomer" verliehen.

Gamecity Hamburg unterstützt das PLAY Festival als Sponsor. Außerdem präsentieren wir die nominierten Spiele des Creative Gaming Award und weitere Aktivitäten auf unserer eigenen interaktiven Plattform, dem Gamecity Online Hub.

Road to Polaris – Gamecity Hamburg bringt fünf Hamburger Indies auf die Convention

Vom 13. bis 15. Oktober öffnet die Polaris, die neue große Hamburger Community-Convention, die sich ganz um Gaming, Anime, Manga und asiatische Popkultur dreht, zum zweiten Mal ihre Pforten.

gamescom 2023 was a blast once again – we met some people we rarely see throughout the year otherwise, made new connections and, most importantly, enabled five studios from Hamburg to present their games at the shared Gamecity Hamburg Booth at the Indie Arena Booth.

Road to Polaris 2023 - Bewirb Dich bis 28. August

Vom 13. bis 15. Oktober findet die Community-Convention Polaris mit einem dreitägigen Programm aus den Bereichen Gaming, E-Sports, Cosplay und Content Creation statt. Gamecity Hamburg bietet kostenlose Standpakete für ausgewählte Hamburger Entwickler*innen, Teams und Studios an. So könnt Ihr Eure Spiele, Prototypen und Demos dem Publikum präsentieren und direktes Feedback von euren Zielgruppen sammeln. Bewerbungen sind noch bis zum 28. August möglich!

You can play their games at the Hamburg Games Conference expo from March 1 to 2 at the Altonaer Museum.
