This year, gamecity:Hamburg will for the first time invite trade visitors to its traditional fish bun reception on Tuesday, 20 August at 3 p.m: www.eventbrite.de/e/fischbrotchenempfang-von-gamecity-hamburg-registrierung-67019275457.

At the newly designed Gamecity joint stand in the Business Area in Hall 4.1, Booth No. C- 31 - D-40 in the "Made in Germany" area, new contacts will be made while Hamburg specialties and cold drinks are being served.

In addition to our established exhibitors InnoGames, Taylor Wessing, Whow Games, the up-and-coming Hamburg Indie Studios and Start-ups Mooneye Studios, Team Marty, Space Walk and Wunderparc will be around.

Space Walk and Wunderparc are part of the MEDIA LIFT incubator by nextMedia.Hamburg, a project that was established to boost innovative ideas in the field of content and tech. Wunderparc develops a software that creates 3D scenes out of two dimensional landscapes. This can be used in games as well. Space Walk is working on a technical solution to decrease motion sickness in VR games and VR applications. This shows how the Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft, of which nextmedia.Hamburg and gamecity:Hamburg are a part of, is spanning various sectors of the creative industry.

Furthermore, the fish bun reception is the perfect networking platform to get in touch with German and international contacts.

InnoGames hosts, in cooperation with gamecity:Hamburg, the Games Compass networking event at the gamescom. After three successful events in Hamburg, this event brings together decider of the German and international games industry. Attendance is by invitation only, interested parties can write an email to: gamescompasshamburg@innogames.com.

We start our reception at 3 p.m. with welcome words by the new gamecity:Hamburg project manager Dennis Schoubye together with Tim Angerer, head of the department for culture and media in Hamburg and our biggest exhibitor at the joint stand InnoGames. Participation in the fish bun reception is free of charge and registration is not required.

To request a meeting with project manager Dennis Schoubye at the gamescom 2019, please contact office@gamecity-hamburg.de.

We are looking forward to seeing you!
